On Point Kennels is a small, family-run business dedicated to raising championship German Shorthair Pointers. The dogs at On Point are primarily groomed for field trialers, but all of them are well-suited for the foot hunter. Allowing only one or two litters per year supports On Point’s belief that quality far outweighs quantity when it comes to breeding champions. In fact, On Point Kennels aspires to one purpose and one purpose only: the betterment of the German Shorthair Pointer breed. Whether you are motivated by competition, or seek a committed all-day hunting companion, you are encouraged to explore this site. About Tim Thaden 

On Point Kennels is owned and operated by Tim Thaden, a country boy at heart. Having grown up on a farm, he has a deep appreciation for the land, and has been a hunter all of his life. Thaden has raised accomplished hunting dogs for more than thirty years, and has been involved in field trialing since 2001. He has owned and groomed a serious champion since 2006.
